Chernobyl Carnivale: Redux!
Well here we are folks, we're practically at the gates of the Carnivale once again. The Midway is stocked full of prizes, the Freakshow is bustling and filled with oddities and amusements, and the Carneytown is freshly filled with drunken carnies and empty beer bottles!
What exactly is Chernobyl Carnivale, you ask? It's the story of a carnival-freakshow outside of Chernobyl, Ukraine in which a mad ringleader has collected a cabinet of freaks and some old circus attractions and strung together one of the worse sideshows ever built. This story comes in the form of a tabletop role-playing game in which players will get to move about an open world and explore the wondrous atrocities that are hiding within the park.
During their adventures throughout the park, the players will encounter memorable characters like Bloody Mary, the Harlequin, the Bearded Lady, the Strong Man, Three-Eyed Jack, as well as many more freaks and carnies that roam about the "Greatest Sideshow on Earth!".
You can experience this wonderfully-twisted adventure in your own mind, or in a tabletop setting with your closest friends and strangers. You can play it with any tabletop configuration, or you can download our Recodexer Game Manual for free. It only takes a few short minutes to learn the basics of Recodexer, and it provides a much faster gaming experience than some of our competitors without sacrificing immersion or detail.
In addition to the remaster content of Chernobyl Carnivale: Act I, this game guide also features some of the new Lost Files gameplay, as well as the Secret Park expansion pack. This expansion can be found in the back of the book and enhances the experience by adding an additional 4 monsters, 2 Vexation Relics, and a whole new area of the park to explore, and a new micro-narrative to uncover. Players will love the Missing Persons side mission storyline, and we are sure they will love exploring each insane attraction hiding in the Secret Park!
Lastly, with the addition of new attractions and additional enemies, there is no shortage of freaky fun content in Chernobyl Carnivale. The new Hobo Man hiding in the woods will disgust and delight guests, while the new Lost and Found will allow players to retrieve their lost weapons and items they may have dropped in between adventures throughout the park. While you're adventuring, make sure to check out our revamped challenge mode: The Tower of Terror! This delightfully horrific attraction will challenge players to fight through each floor of the tower in their quest to reach the top. Completing this dastardly tower will reward players with a powerful weapon, and a ton of Midway Tokens to spend in the Midway!
